The key idea

Gammal Tech lets individuals open a identity-verified account without commercial registration being required by the platform. After project setup, you can share card payment links with international clients and receive eligible withdrawals into a bank account in your verified name. Choose it for a service business that needs straightforward international collection, while checking your receiving bank and the current payment terms before taking customer funds.

Choose a gateway around how your clients pay

A payment gateway is only useful when the complete journey works: your client can pay, you can confirm the order, and you can receive the earnings. For a designer in Bandung or a developer in Surabaya serving overseas clients, international card checkout and an eligible receiving account may matter more than a long list of domestic payment methods.

Start with three questions: Are your buyers individuals or procurement teams? Will they pay once or buy an ongoing service? Which bank account will receive your withdrawals? Those answers make provider comparisons much more useful than choosing a familiar logo alone.

Understand where QRIS and international cards differ

Bank Indonesia describes QRIS as Indonesia's standardized QR payment system, usable through participating payment applications. A domestic QRIS customer has a different payment journey from an overseas client who wants card checkout.

Gammal Tech's documented offer here is card payment links. Do not assume those links accept QRIS, Indonesian e-wallets or local bank-transfer methods. If most buyers require domestic methods, compare providers for those needs. If your work is sold directly to international clients, focus this evaluation on card collection and bank withdrawals.

Start with your identity, before building a larger operation

Current registration documents: Use the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold, not a residence-only ID. An Egyptian passport is accepted only for an Egyptian living abroad without their Egyptian National ID available. An Egyptian birth certificate is accepted only for an Egyptian living in Egypt, under 15, who has neither a National ID nor a passport. Check the official registration requirements before applying.

Gammal Tech does not require commercial registration for its individual onboarding. You create one account, verify your identity with the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold and keep ownership of the projects attached to it. The verified person is also the person entitled to receive the earnings.

This suits someone turning an existing skill into a defined offer: presentation design, website maintenance, editing or another permitted service. It does not remove any Indonesian registration or reporting obligations that apply to your activity. If you already run a registered company, compare local acquiring arrangements, operational features and total costs against what your business actually needs.

Match your payment setup to the service

Three service models and their payment priorities
Service modelWhat to preparePayment approach
A defined one-off projectDeliverables, revision limit and due dateA one-time card payment link
Work completed in stagesSeparate scope and acceptance for each stageA clear payment request for each agreed stage
Ongoing monthly supportMonthly scope and cancellation termsEligible monthly recurring guest card link

Gammal Tech documents monthly and yearly recurring payments through guest links in supported non-EGP currencies. Begin with one-time payments if you have not yet defined what the recurring service includes.

Example: a portfolio becomes a paid design service

Illustrative example: An Indonesian presentation designer offers an investor-deck redesign to an overseas founder. The offer covers a fixed slide count, one revision round and a delivery date. After agreeing the brief and payment terms, the designer sends a card payment link with an order reference that matches the proposal.

The client does not need a Gammal Tech account for the guest card payment. The designer checks the recorded payment in the dashboard before beginning the agreed paid stage. The same clear offer, agreement and confirmation routine can support the next client.

Prepare the essentials and create your payment project

  1. Prepare the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold and bank details. Check that the bank-account name matches the identity you will verify.
  2. Create your account. Begin at Gammal Tech registration, then open the developer dashboard.
  3. Create a project and configure payments. Set an HTTPS Payment Callback URL and enable payments. Payments remain disabled until the callback is set.
  4. Create the customer link. Use your public project ID in the payment-link generator, with the agreed amount and a supported currency.

A full online store is unnecessary for sharing a guest link, but the project still needs its HTTPS return-page setting. Sharing the link through email or messages requires neither an SDK installation nor a secret key.

Check the receiving account before the first sale

Ask your bank for its exact international receiving instructions. For example, BCA lists the account number, SWIFT code, beneficiary name and transaction purpose among its inward-remittance requirements. These requirements do not establish that every account is eligible for Gammal Tech payouts.

Confirm your particular receiving bank and currency with Gammal Tech support before collecting funds. Withdrawals go only to an account in your verified name. A supported checkout currency does not guarantee that your bank receives or retains that same currency, and transfer charges are deducted from the withdrawn amount.

Make the first sale easy to understand and verify

Give the buyer a concise description of the service, what happens after payment, and how cancellations or revisions work. Keep the agreed scope, order reference, payment record and delivery evidence together. For manual work, confirm the transaction from your dashboard rather than accepting a payment screenshot as proof.

For automated access or downloads, delivery needs trusted payment validation and protection against duplicate fulfillment. A customer reaching a thank-you page is not sufficient evidence. When you are ready for that step, use the practical Indonesian card-payment workflow to plan the customer journey.

Use one current reference for fees and withdrawal rules

Read the current payment, refund and withdrawal terms when pricing your offer. Merchant deductions, customer service charges and transfer costs affect different parts of the transaction; explain the customer's total before asking for payment.

Gammal Tech handles the VAT and tax obligations assigned to it under its service arrangements. Your own personal income tax, local registration and reporting obligations remain separate. Start with one clear service and one genuine client. Add automation when repeat business makes it useful.

Common questions

Can an individual in Indonesia use Gammal Tech without a company?

Gammal Tech permits individual onboarding without commercial registration. You must verify your identity with the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold, meet the platform's terms and use an eligible receiving account in the same verified name. Your local obligations still depend on your activity.

Does the payment link support QRIS?

QRIS support is not documented for Gammal Tech. This guide describes guest card payment links for international clients. Evaluate a separate provider if QRIS or another local payment method is essential.

Can a client pay without creating an account?

Yes. A customer using a guest card payment link does not need a Gammal Tech account. That payment does not automatically create an account for your own service.

Can I receive the payout in another person's bank account?

No. Withdrawals belong to the verified account holder and must go to a bank account in that same name. Confirm the receiving bank and currency before you accept customer funds.

Start with an account in your own name

Follow these actions in order. An already approved account can go straight to project setup:

  1. Create a Gammal Tech account in the name of the person who will receive the earnings and complete the registration checks. Wait for account approval before project setup; review can take up to 10 days. If that account is already approved, continue to the next step.
  2. Sign in and open Developer Mode. Select your project or click Create Project, then open its settings.
  3. Set the Payment Callback URL, an HTTPS page where customers return after checkout, then enable payments. Record the project ID, pid.
  4. Check current charges, refund conditions and withdrawal rules before setting the customer price. Prepare an eligible receiving bank account in the verified person’s name. Transfer fees are deducted from the withdrawal amount.
  5. Open the payment link generator. Enter that project ID, the agreed amount, currency and recognizable description. Review the generated link before sharing it with the customer.
  6. After the customer pays, check the transaction record and match the project, order, amount and currency before delivery. A return-page visit or screenshot alone is not payment confirmation.

Already approved? Open your project and use the payment link generator. Review the current payment fees, withdrawal conditions and refund rules before setting your customer price.
