The key idea
Gammal Tech lets an individual open a identity-verified account without commercial registration being required by the platform. Once verification and project setup are complete, international clients can use guest card payment links. Withdrawals go only to an eligible bank account in the verified owner's name. For Vietnam, confirm the receiving account, currency and supporting records before collecting payments for your service.
Choose a payment gateway for the client you want to serve
A Vietnamese customer paying for a local purchase and an overseas company buying a remote service may need different payment options. Can that client pay by card? Do they need a defined invoice reference? Is the purchase a one-off assignment or an ongoing service?
Gammal Tech's guest card links are useful when you already have a service agreement and need a straightforward checkout step. The client does not need a Gammal Tech account. You can place the link in the conversation where the work was agreed, without first building a complete online store.
Start as the verified person behind the work
Current registration documents: Use the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold, not a residence-only ID. An Egyptian passport is accepted only for an Egyptian living abroad without their Egyptian National ID available. An Egyptian birth certificate is accepted only for an Egyptian living in Egypt, under 15, who has neither a National ID nor a passport. Check the official registration requirements before applying.
Gammal Tech does not require commercial registration for individual onboarding. International account holders verify with the National ID of a country whose citizenship they hold, and one person keeps one account. Your project may have a service name, but the verified individual remains the owner entitled to withdraw its earnings.
This makes it practical to start with work you can already deliver, such as software testing, translation or research support. Provider onboarding does not remove the Vietnamese registration and reporting requirements that may apply to your activity. Build your service around an accurate description of what you do and a payment account that belongs to you.
Example: package a useful software test into one purchase
Illustrative example: A software tester in Hanoi offers an overseas product team a review of three customer journeys in its staging application. The package includes a recorded walkthrough, a prioritized issue list and one clarification call. The client provides authorized test access and sample data, then pays through a card link under the agreed terms.
This offer has a visible endpoint. The tester can show a sample report before purchase, explain which devices are covered and define what counts as an additional task. The same structure can support the next client without making every new order an open-ended negotiation.
Make the scope and payment request fit together
| Prepare | What the client should understand |
|---|---|
| Deliverable | The result they will receive and its format |
| Client inputs | Files, access or information needed before work begins |
| Price and currency | The quoted service price and currency used at checkout |
| Order reference | A consistent reference across the agreement and payment record |
| Delivery terms | Timing, revisions and the next step after confirmation |
Keep the offer easy to explain to a colleague. Clear scope helps you price extra work separately.
Prepare the Vietnamese receiving account as carefully as checkout
HSBC Vietnam's international-transfer guide highlights accurate beneficiary information and notes that receiving banks may require proof of payment purpose. Ask your own bank which account details and records it needs for income from your particular service.
There is also an account-access point worth checking early. HSBC Vietnam's account FAQ explains that identity-document and biometric verification are required for cash withdrawals and electronic transactions under its stated rules. Check that your bank's identity records are current before you depend on the account for business receipts.
These examples explain bank preparation; they do not establish a partnership or payout compatibility. Confirm your specific bank and receiving currency with Gammal Tech when eligibility is unclear.
Use your project to connect the offer to a card payment
After account verification, sign in and create the service project in Developer Mode. Set its HTTPS Payment Callback URL and enable payments in the project settings. The callback is the customer's return page after checkout, and it is required even when you mainly share links through messages.
Use the payment-link generator with your public project ID, agreed amount and a supported currency. Sharing a guest link requires neither an SDK installation nor a secret key. Choose an available currency such as USD, EUR or GBP with the client; do not assume VND checkout or local wallet support.
Treat confirmation, delivery and withdrawal as separate steps
Check the actual recorded transaction before treating an order as paid. Match the project, amount, currency and expected order. A customer screenshot or arrival on a return page is not enough. For a manually delivered service, record the confirmation and follow the agreed delivery schedule.
Keep the agreement, payment record and delivery evidence together. Later, if you automate protected downloads or access, use trusted payment validation and prevent repeated notifications from causing duplicate delivery. Guest card payment does not automatically create a signed-in account for your service.
Keep the money trail clear as the business grows
Withdrawals go only to an eligible bank account in your verified name. The checkout currency and the currency retained by your bank may differ. Transfer fees are deducted from the withdrawn amount; merchant deductions and customer charges also need to be understood when setting your service price.
Read the current payment, refund and withdrawal terms and let the buyer review the complete checkout total. Gammal Tech handles the VAT and tax obligations assigned to it under its service arrangements. Your personal income tax, local registration and reporting obligations remain separate. A future move abroad requires checking the new receiving arrangement and applicable rules, rather than assuming any account will work.
Common questions
Can I use a payment gateway in Vietnam as an individual?
Gammal Tech permits individual onboarding without commercial registration. You need National ID verification, a configured project and an eligible receiving account in your verified name. Local requirements for your activity still apply.
Do my international clients need a Gammal Tech account?
No. A guest card payment link allows checkout without a Gammal Tech account. It does not automatically register the buyer for your own service.
Can I accept payments without building a complete website?
You can share guest card links without a full online store. Your project still needs an HTTPS Payment Callback URL and payments enabled, so prepare a suitable return page.
Does Gammal Tech support Vietnamese wallets or VND checkout?
Do not assume either is available. This guide covers the documented guest card-payment route. Choose an available checkout currency and evaluate separate local methods when your customers need them.
Can I withdraw to a relative's Vietnamese bank account?
No. The recipient must be the verified account owner, using an eligible bank account in the same name. Check account details, receiving currency and bank requirements before collection.
Where can I find current fees and withdrawal conditions?
The Gammal Tech integration guide at api.gammal.tech/llms.txt is the central reference. Review merchant deductions, customer charges, refunds and withdrawal rules when pricing your offer.
