The key idea

An individual in Jordan can use Gammal Tech to collect international card payments through guest payment links, subject to account approval and an eligible payout route. Verify your identity with the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold, prepare your project and payment return page, then share the link with your client. Earnings belong to the verified person; withdrawals go only to an eligible bank account carrying that same name. Your customer does not need a Gammal Tech account.

Start with one service a client can confidently buy

You do not need an extensive catalogue to make your first sale. A service with a defined outcome, price and delivery date gives a client something concrete to approve. Show a relevant sample and identify the materials you need.

Illustrative example: An Arabic voice artist in Amman offers to record a short product explainer for a software company abroad. The package specifies the approved script length, audio format, usage rights and one correction round. Once the client agrees, the artist sends a card payment link and checks the recorded payment before producing the recording.

The offer separates a correction from a new script. That matters more than having a complicated checkout: both parties know what they are buying and when additional work needs a new agreement. Use the same service description in your proposal, payment request and delivery message.

Know where a local transfer ends and international collection begins

Jordan has a domestic payment system that many clients may already know. JoPACC's CliQ FAQ states that CliQ currently enables local transfers within Jordan in Jordanian dinars. An overseas buyer asking to pay by card is a different customer journey.

Gammal Tech's guest card link is useful for that international service sale. The client opens the checkout and pays by a supported card without creating a Gammal Tech account. This guide does not establish a Gammal Tech integration with CliQ or local mobile wallets.

If you serve local and overseas clients, choose the method for each sale based on the client's needs. An established registered business should also compare local acquiring options, settlement arrangements and its operating requirements. For an individual starting out, Gammal Tech's personal onboarding and shareable card checkout offer a straightforward place to begin.

Open the account in the name of the person earning the money

Current registration documents: Use the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold, not a residence-only ID. An Egyptian passport is accepted only for an Egyptian living abroad without their Egyptian National ID available. An Egyptian birth certificate is accepted only for an Egyptian living in Egypt, under 15, who has neither a National ID nor a passport. Check the official registration requirements before applying.

Gammal Tech does not require commercial registration for individual onboarding. You create one account and verify your identity with the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold. The verified name determines who can receive the earnings. If you already have an account, keep using it rather than opening another.

When someone helps build your service website, the project and payments should belong to your account. Using a developer's account would make the developer the verified recipient. The same principle applies when you build a website for someone else: the person entitled to the revenue owns the payment account.

Gammal Tech handles the VAT and tax obligations assigned to it under its service arrangements. Your own personal income tax, local registration and reporting obligations remain separate. Individual provider onboarding is not an exemption from the rules that apply to your activity in Jordan.

Prepare your Jordanian IBAN and bank details accurately

The Central Bank of Jordan explains that Jordanian IBANs contain 30 characters and begin with JO. IBAN is a standardised form of an existing account number. Obtain yours from your bank's official channel rather than constructing it yourself.

For Gammal Tech withdrawals, prepare the bank name, account-holder name, IBAN, SWIFT or BIC, country and bank address. Check the official account-holder spelling against your verified identity document, especially if your bank's English record shortens or transliterates the name differently.

Three details that serve different purposes
DetailIts role
Guest card payment linkLets your client open the checkout for your service.
Your bank-issued IBANIdentifies the receiving account in standard international form.
Your verified account nameEstablishes the person entitled to receive the payout.

A correctly formatted IBAN does not confirm every currency or transfer route. Establish the eligible receiving arrangement before collecting customer funds, and resolve an uncertain bank or name detail with the bank and Gammal Tech support.

Price the service around the work and the amount you receive

Agree a documented supported checkout currency, such as USD, EUR or GBP. Do not assume Jordanian-dinar checkout or settlement in a particular currency without checking the supported arrangement.

Consult the current fees, refund rules and withdrawal conditions before quoting. Both the merchant deductions and the customer's checkout charges matter. Transfer fees are deducted from the withdrawn amount, and bank conversion can affect the eventual receipt.

For the voice-recording example, estimate preparation, recording, editing and the agreed correction round before setting a price. Then check whether the expected net receipt supports that work. A recognisable package and a clear total help the client decide without repeated negotiation.

Keep the agreement, payment and delivery connected

Check your recorded transaction before delivering. Match the project, order, amount and currency; a screenshot from the client is not sufficient. Keep the accepted scope, payment reference, finished files and delivery date together.

For a small number of orders, a simple register helps you see what is paid, what is waiting for client materials and what is complete. If you later automate delivery, use trusted payment validation and ensure that a repeated notification cannot fulfil the same order twice.

If you travel or relocate, your Gammal Tech account remains attached to you. You may use an eligible bank account in another supported country, but it must carry the same verified name. Confirm destination and currency requirements before changing the receiving arrangement.

Common questions

Can an individual in Jordan use Gammal Tech without a company?

Gammal Tech permits individual onboarding without commercial registration. National ID verification, account approval and an eligible bank payout route are required. Your local business and tax obligations remain separate.

Is this the same as collecting a CliQ payment?

No. JoPACC describes CliQ as a domestic Jordanian-dinar transfer system. This guide covers Gammal Tech guest card payment links; it does not claim a CliQ integration.

Do my overseas clients need Gammal Tech accounts?

Guest card payment links do not require clients to create Gammal Tech accounts. Customers complete the supported card checkout and any verification required by the payment process.

Can I use someone else's IBAN for a withdrawal?

No. The receiving bank account must belong to the verified Gammal Tech account owner and carry that same verified name.

Can I share a payment link without building a full store?

Yes. You can share a guest card link directly with a client after completing the account and project setup. An HTTPS Payment Callback URL is still required before enabling payments.

Where should I check the fees before quoting?

Use the current Gammal Tech integration guide for payment fees, refund rules and withdrawal conditions. Transfer charges are deducted from withdrawals, so calculate your expected net receipt before agreeing the service price.

Enable payments yourself in Developer Mode

Once your identity is verified, you can configure your project and turn payments on from your own account:

  1. Create your Gammal Tech account once and verify your identity with the National ID of a country whose citizenship you hold. Earnings belong to that verified person, and withdrawals go only to an eligible bank account in the same name.
  2. Allow for account verification. The published estimate is approximately 10 days, with approval notification by WhatsApp or email.
  3. Sign in to the Console using your verified account.
  4. Click Developer Mode.
  5. Create a new project, then open project settings.
  6. Set the Payment Callback URL, an HTTPS page where customers return after paying.
  7. Enable payments in project settings. Payments remain off until the callback URL is set.
  8. Use the payment link generator to set your project, amount and currency, then share the link with your customer.

Review the current payment fees, withdrawal conditions and refund rules before setting your price. Transfer fees are deducted from the withdrawal amount. Already verified? Start from the Console.
