Your starting point
Use Gammal Tech AI to move from a focused idea to a first working version in minutes when the brief is approved and the required setup is ready. Refine it with [mode: idea], then use [mode: build] for the frontend, backend, database, authentication and payments. Actual build time depends on scope, account readiness and integrations.
The app and the problem it solves
A conference trip may offer dozens of sessions, networking meetings and side events in different rooms or venues. Saving everything produces a crowded wishlist rather than a usable agenda. EventPath helps an Egyptian attendee decide what fits their goals and travel constraints during the event.
This graduation project focuses on choosing among competing activities. It is different from planning flights or comparing destinations. The inputs are sessions, interests, fixed commitments and transfer times. The result is a personal agenda with explanations for what was included and what could not fit.
The first user journey
- The attendee adds a conference programme or a small manual session list with times, rooms and topic labels.
- They choose interests, mark essential sessions and enter fixed meetings, breaks and venue-transfer times.
- The app suggests a conflict-free agenda and explains which valuable sessions were excluded because of overlap or travel time.
- The attendee edits the plan, saves an alternative and prepares a personal post-event follow-up list from notes they enter.
The logic that makes the project distinct
Assign user-defined value to sessions, then search for a set that fits the available time and movement constraints. A session ending at 11:00 does not connect to another starting at 11:00 across town. Mandatory commitments should be checked for conflicts before any optimisation runs.
A simple first version can examine all subsets of a small programme or use interval scheduling when the assumptions fit. If location-dependent travel times are included, explain that the problem is richer than ordinary non-overlapping intervals. Do not claim a globally optimal agenda when using a heuristic without proof.
agenda value = sum(user-defined value of selected sessions) Feasibility requires time compatibility, transfer time and all consistent mandatory commitments.
A classroom demonstration
In a fictional programme, session A ends at 11:00 and session B begins at 11:10 in a venue 20 minutes away. They cannot both be selected under the entered transfer assumption. Session C begins at 11:30 in that venue and is feasible. If B is mandatory, the app should explain why A must be dropped instead of quietly ignoring the transfer.
Data, interface and backend
Ask for a full-stack application: a phone-friendly frontend, backend logic, a database for persistent work, authentication for the personal workspace and payments for the defined offer. Start with private user workspaces and a small, inspectable dataset. These records give the model a concrete starting point:
| Record | What it stores |
|---|---|
| Programme | Session title, topic, dated times, venue and source. |
| Preferences | Interests, values, essential sessions, breaks and fixed meetings. |
| Agenda | Selected activities, exclusion reasons, alternatives and personal notes. |
With Gammal Tech services, personal app data belongs to the user’s workspace. Signing in does not disclose their Gammal Tech account email, phone number or identity to your app. If a later version shares records between people, specify the sharing model and permissions explicitly in the build brief.
A specific paid offer
A paid feature could compare agendas for several event days and produce a personal conference workbook. Start with individual planning rather than a shared attendee directory. The user pays for organisation and decision support, while event registration and admission remain with the actual organiser.
Define the deliverable, price and currency before checkout. Confirm payment with the provider and associate the entitlement with the correct order; a success screen alone is insufficient. Complete the required account and payment setup before real use, and review the applicable operating costs and payment terms.
Refine the idea with [mode: idea]
1. Open the conversation. Open the Gammal Tech WhatsApp conversation with +201033998844. Open the link first, then continue inside WhatsApp.
2. Start Idea mode. Copy the following command into a message by itself and press Send. The square brackets [ ] are required; keep the colon and space too.
[mode: idea]3. Wait for the mode-change confirmation, then send the brief. Send the following text as a new message, adapting it to your team. Answer the assistant’s questions about the audience, first version and paid value until the idea is approved.
Refine EventPath as a graduation project for Egyptian students interested in travel and professional events. Focus on selecting a valuable agenda under time and venue-transfer constraints. Define a small first dataset, a paid workbook feature and an evaluation where a high-interest wishlist is physically impossible. Make mandatory-session conflicts understandable.
Build the project with [mode: build]
4. Move to Build after the idea is approved. In the same WhatsApp conversation, send the following command by itself, including the square brackets, then press Send.
[mode: build]5. Wait for the mode-change confirmation, then send the requirements. Use the following message as a starting brief. Agree the scope of the frontend, backend, persistent data, login and payments. Ask about access, setup and fees, and approve the scope and cost before work begins. Simple versions can be prepared in minutes once prerequisites are ready; timing depends on the project scope.
Build EventPath with an English frontend, backend, database, authentication and payments. Add a manual event programme, interest values, mandatory sessions, breaks and transfer times. Suggest feasible personal agendas and explain exclusions. Save alternatives and notes per user, then add a paid multi-day workbook with verified access. Keep event admission separate and clearly identify any heuristic used in the scheduling.
The buttons prepare the command in WhatsApp. Press Send to start the conversation.
6. Review the result and leave the mode when you finish. Open the project link and try the user journey and test cases described in this article. For a correction, name the page and the result you expect. To return to the normal assistant, send the following command by itself, including both square brackets:
[exit]What to demonstrate at graduation
- Reject the 11:10 session after an 11:00 finish when the transfer takes 20 minutes.
- Mark two overlapping sessions mandatory and request a user decision before generating an agenda.
- Set all optional values equal and ensure that the chosen agenda remains feasible even when several valid alternatives exist.
Ask users to build an agenda from a programme before and after using the app. Compare missed mandatory commitments and overlooked transfer conflicts. A later version could import an organiser-provided schedule, provided updates preserve the user’s preferences and show what changed.
Demonstrate the interface, the decision logic and saved work after login. Explain your own understanding, assumptions and evaluation, following your university’s rules on AI assistance. A classroom demonstration can use clearly labelled sample payment states without making a charge. Those samples are not a Gammal Tech gateway test mode; gateway transactions involve real money.
Does selecting a session reserve a seat?
No. It adds the activity to the personal plan. Registration, availability and admission are confirmed through the event organiser’s actual systems.
