What you will finish

You will have a private tool adding valid session minutes by project and displaying unambiguous hours and minutes. You enter and correct the records; the project does not depend on an always-running timer or background activity tracking.

1. Gather these details

  • Choose three short project or work-category names. Keep a project name separate from its task description so one job does not acquire many slightly different project labels.
  • Use a date, start, finish and break minutes within one day. For overnight work, split entries using a labelled End of day option representing 24:00.
  • Prepare examples with known durations, such as ninety minutes including a fifteen-minute break. Independent arithmetic reveals errors before the record informs future work estimates.
  • Define which work you record, including relevant communication if appropriate. Tracking a minute does not establish that it is billable; that depends on your agreement.
  • Set a brief end-of-day review routine and keep correction notes short. This project needs neither screenshots, keyboard monitoring nor information from colleagues’ accounts.

2. Define how the project works

1. Record a distinct working session

After a period of work, enter project, task, date, start, finish and break minutes within the session. Use a description identifying the work, such as preparing a page outline or reviewing copy. Do not assign an entire day to one project if you switched between different jobs. Keep sessions within one day in the first version and split overnight work, so the duration does not become ambiguous between dates or appear to finish before it starts. Use End of day for the first entry, then 00:00 on the next date.

2. Calculate net minutes first

Subtract start from finish to find elapsed time, then subtract breaks once. Add session results in minutes before converting to hours. One hour thirty minutes is one and a half hours, not 1.3 hours. Label both displays clearly if you offer them, with total minutes as the calculation basis. Do not automatically round every session upward because that changes the total and may misrepresent the actual time recorded.

3. Resolve overlaps and explain corrections

If a new session overlaps another on the same day, request review instead of counting the same time twice. Perhaps the first session was never closed or a start time was mistyped. Allow correction with a brief reason and change date while retaining enough history to understand the alteration. Correction should be straightforward: an awkward process can encourage keeping known mistakes. The goal is a record you can explain and reasonably trust.

4. Review the pattern before changing decisions

At the end of the week, inspect totals by project, session count and types of work taking most time. Compare with your expectations and identify whether differences came from task difficulty, communication or an inaccurate estimate. More hours do not automatically mean better quality or productivity. When using the history for a future quote, treat it as planning evidence rather than automatically billing a client for every recorded minute.

3. Work through an example

Fictional sessions for one project on one day
SessionMinute calculationNet time
09:00–10:30 with a 15-minute break90 − 1575 minutes
11:00–12:00 with no break60 − 060 minutes
Project total75 + 60135 minutes
Total displayed as hours135 ÷ 602.25 hours, or 2 hours 15 minutes

Do not write 2.15 decimal hours to mean two hours fifteen minutes. The thirty-minute gap between these sessions contributes no project time.

4. Set up your account and start the build

  1. Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
  2. Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
  3. Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
    [mode: build]
[mode: web] is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command.
  4. Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
  5. Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
  6. Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send [exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.

Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.

For private saving, ask the builder to connect Gammal Tech sign-in and register the correct website address in your project. If requested, open the developer area, select the project or create it under the agreed quote, and copy its ID; never guess it. Check that the final site address is registered before testing saves. Each account has its own data. Test save and reload, then ask a trusted person using their own genuine account to check that your records are not visible. Do not share sign-in codes or create another account for yourself. User-data storage is free, with a 1 MB limit per user, so keep short text records rather than files or photographs. Paid sign-in codes may need project funds after the free allowance: fund your wallet, then transfer a usage budget to the project in the developer area. Sign-in does not automatically disclose identity or contact details to the site owner.

5. Adapt and send this request

Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.

Build a private single-page work time tracker called [tool name] on MeNooN. Use Gammal Tech login and separate per-user storage. I want manual session entry, not device monitoring or a promised background timer. Each session needs a project, task, one date, start and finish within that day, and break minutes. Subtract start from finish and then subtract breaks. Sum minutes by project, day or week. Display hours and minutes plus clearly labelled decimal hours. Do not round every session upward or assume recorded time is billable. Reject a finish before the start, negative breaks, breaks longer than the session and missing fields. Flag overlapping sessions so I can correct them before counting twice. Split overnight work into two dated entries. Provide a labelled End of day option representing 24:00 as an endpoint, without assuming the native time field accepts it; start the next date at 00:00. Allow corrections with a brief reason and a clear record of the change. Do not collect colleague activity, screenshots or shared team data. Make it comfortable on a phone. Before execution, quote the one-time creation fee separately from the first month of standard one-page hosting at EGP 100, disclose extra usage charges and wait for approval.

6. Test the result before relying on it

  1. Enter 09:00 to 10:30 with a fifteen-minute break.Expected result: The result is seventy-five minutes: one hour fifteen minutes or 1.25 decimal hours. The break is subtracted once.
  2. Add 11:00 to 12:00 for the same project with no break.Expected result: The total is 135 minutes, two hours fifteen minutes or 2.25 decimal hours. The gap is not counted.
  3. Try an overlapping 10:00–11:00 session and then a hundred-minute break within a sixty-minute session.Expected result: The overlap requires review and the excessive break is rejected rather than producing duplicated or negative time.
  4. Correct the first break to five minutes with a reason. In another test project enter 23:30 to End of day, then 00:00 to 00:30 on the next date.Expected result: The corrected first project totals 145 minutes. The overnight project totals 30 + 30 = 60 minutes without losing a minute at midnight, and the correction reason remains saved.

7. Use the project during its first week

Track only two projects during the first week while you establish a reliable habit. Spend five minutes each evening checking times, breaks and overlaps instead of reconstructing a whole week from memory. At the weekly review, compare planned and recorded time and choose one practical change, such as grouping replies or preparing material before production. Keep notes brief. If you missed a session and cannot establish its duration, mark the information as incomplete rather than inventing a precise figure that later enters an estimate or a payment claim.

Questions about this project

Will it record time while the page is closed?

This version is a manual register, not continuous monitoring. Enter start and finish yourself instead of relying on a closed browser or sleeping phone to keep a dependable timer running.

Is two hours fifteen minutes equal to 2.15?

No. Fifteen divided by sixty is 0.25, so the decimal result is 2.25 hours. Displaying hours and minutes beside decimal hours avoids confusing the two formats.

Is every recorded minute chargeable to a client?

Not necessarily. The register measures your inputs; billing follows the agreed scope and terms. Do not turn recorded sessions into automatic payment demands without reviewing that agreement.
