What you will finish

Your page directs personally invited guests to the organiser’s WhatsApp with a structured response. It does not create a public guest list or treat everyone who opens the link as invited or confirmed.

1. Gather these details

  • Choose one responsible adult and a personal WhatsApp number they intend to use for replies. Do not send wedding guests to the Gammal Tech building number.
  • Prepare your invitation list privately, defining the seats and people included in each invitation. Do not place household names or guest details in the public page.
  • Choose a response deadline and a clear change process. An additional companion requires your approval rather than becoming accepted merely through a request message.
  • Select information suitable for public display, such as a simple page title and reply instructions. Send precise event and venue details to invitees privately.
  • Prepare brief replies for acceptance, decline and questions. Discuss necessary access arrangements privately with guests, collecting only information needed to make those arrangements.

2. Define how the project works

Separate reply instructions from personal invitations

State that the page is for people who received a personal invitation and explains the reply process. Links can be forwarded, so an obscure address does not provide privacy. Do not publish names, phone numbers, an exact venue address or family movements. Send event details within private invitations. If including an image, use one you may publish that does not reveal a private location or people who have not agreed to appear.

Make the household response unambiguous

The WhatsApp button should open a message requesting invitation name, attendance decision and the number to confirm. Those details are written in the private conversation rather than public comments. Compare the request with the seats allocated to that household. If it exceeds the invitation, discuss it instead of confirming automatically. Ask one adult to reply for the household so you have a clear contact when details or numbers change.

Confirm explicitly after reviewing the invitation

After receiving a reply, check the invitation and respond clearly, for example that two people are confirmed under that invitation. Sending a request alone does not establish acceptance. If a household replies twice, update its existing private record instead of adding the count twice. Keep that record outside the public page, using a private method you control and only the information needed for invitations and attendance planning.

Provide a respectful change and decline process

Explain that changes should include the same invitation name and the revised number, preferably before the stated deadline. Declines are useful planning information too. Once responses close, change the page to request direct contact for exceptions rather than implying open acceptance. Share directions only with the intended guests. After the occasion, review private records and remove details you no longer need instead of retaining household information without a purpose.

3. Work through an example

Fictional entries in a private record outside the page
InvitationReplyOrganiser decision
Household A: two seatsTwo attendingConfirm two
Household B: three seatsOne attendingConfirm one
Household C: one seatRequests twoReview; no automatic confirmation
Household D: two seatsDeclinesZero attending
Currently confirmed2 + 1 + 0Three people; C remains pending

Letters replace real household details. Pending requests are not included in confirmed attendance, and unused invitation seats do not automatically become available for additional companions.

4. Set up your account and start the build

  1. Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
  2. Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
  3. Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
    [mode: build]
[mode: web] is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command.
  4. Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
  5. Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
  6. Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send [exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.

Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.

5. Adapt and send this request

Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.

Build a ONE PAGE wedding RSVP instruction page on MeNooN titled [title], in [language]. It is for personal invitees, not a public invitation. Do not publish guest names, phone numbers, exact venue details or family movements. Do not rely on an unlisted URL for privacy. Use [approved image] only if I provide it. State the reply deadline [date] and that each private invitation defines its seats; additional companions require organiser approval. Add a WhatsApp button to my personal organiser number [number] with editable message fields for invitation name, attendance decision and requested number. Opening the message must not send it automatically, and sending it must not be described as seat confirmation. Say that the organiser reviews and confirms explicitly and one adult should reply for each household. Explain how to change a reply or decline using the same invitation name. No visitor login, name-collection form, public comments or guest list. I will send venue and arrival details privately outside the page. Before execution, separately quote the one-time build fee, standard EGP 100 first-month hosting and any other charge. Wait for my approval.

6. Test the result before relying on it

  1. Open the WhatsApp button on a phone other than the organiser’s.Expected result: It opens the correct personal organiser number and an editable unsent message, not the Gammal Tech build number.
  2. Send a test request for three people against a two-seat invitation.Expected result: It remains a request for review, without a page claiming three seats are confirmed or an automatic confirmed-count increase.
  3. Open the page in a private window and inspect its publicly readable content.Expected result: Only general reply instructions appear; guest records and precise venue information are absent from the page content.
  4. Send two replies from the same invitation followed by a changed number.Expected result: The organiser updates one private household record rather than counting three separate invitations.

7. Use the project during its first week

Test with two adult invitees first and ask them to respond without your guidance. Check whether they understood the deadline and the need for your confirmation. After correcting unclear wording, include the link only in personal invitations. During the first week, reserve time daily to reconcile replies with the private guest record. Send a respectful reminder to outstanding invitees without publishing their names. Keep attendance figures with the organisers who need them instead of adding a public guest counter or list.

An announcement you can adapt

Private message for invitees: We would be delighted to welcome you. Reply instructions: [website link]. Please send your invitation name and attendance number to the organiser by [date]. We will confirm privately and share arrival details. This link is for personal invitees.

Questions about this project

Is an unlisted page private?

No. Anyone receiving the link may open or forward it. That is why the page excludes guest details and the exact venue, while necessary information is sent privately.

Does a WhatsApp message reserve a seat?

No. The organiser checks the invitation and requested count, then confirms explicitly. A received message does not approve an additional companion.

How should a confirmed household change its number?

Reply using the same invitation name. The organiser reviews, updates the existing record and sends a fresh confirmation instead of creating a second household entry.
