What you will finish
Build a shareable editing page that explains your actual contribution to a sample and turns a vague request into a useful WhatsApp conversation about footage, format, rights and review.
1. Gather these details
- Choose a short video you filmed or have permission to publish. Record your actual contribution, such as cutting, captions or audio cleanup, without claiming the whole team’s work.
- Choose project types and source formats you can reliably handle. Know your equipment’s limits and test a representative file before promising support for unfamiliar material.
- Prepare questions about file count, total source duration, resolution, orientation and transfer method. Preserve original footage and avoid requesting uploads to a public page.
- Decide how music permissions will be established and who checks names and captions. Prepare an early sample approval step before applying the style throughout the edit.
2. Define how the project works
1. Separate source duration from final duration
Ask for the requested finished length and the total recording length as separate facts. Two finished minutes from five minutes of footage differ from two minutes selected from a two-hour recording. Ask whether the customer has already marked useful clips. Inspect a small sample for picture and audio quality before promising repairs. Missing sound or badly framed footage may need new recording; final duration alone cannot describe the work involved.
2. Decide where the video will be watched
Ask whether the output is for a vertical phone view, a horizontal screen or several versions. Specify the aspect ratio instead of promising a file that suits every placement. If horizontal footage must become vertical, test whether the face or product survives cropping. Agree the caption language and who approves the words. Treat each additional output as actual work to discuss in the quote, rather than silently including unlimited versions.
3. Establish permission for source materials
Ask the customer to confirm rights to the supplied footage, photographs and logos. Decide who supplies music licensed for the intended use. A song being available on a platform does not establish permission for every commercial project. Start the sample without music if suitable material is not ready. Obtain separate permission before putting customer work in your portfolio, and identify whether voice-over or purchased assets need another approval and fee.
4. Approve a small sample before finishing
Prepare a short initial sequence to demonstrate pacing, fonts and captions, then collect consolidated feedback. Once the direction is approved, complete the edit and check the whole file before export. The public page need not receive large videos: WhatsApp collects specifications before you agree a private transfer route. Deliver the agreed format and ask the customer to test it on the intended device. State separately whether editable project files are included.
3. Work through an example
| Item | Customer choice | Editor check |
|---|---|---|
| Source | 12 clips totalling 8 minutes | Quality, sound and file order |
| Output | 30-second vertical video | Product remains inside the frame |
| Text | Customer-supplied Arabic captions | Spelling and phone readability |
| Sound | Music with an identified licence | Permission fits intended use |
| Approval | Initial sequence then full edit | Written approval of direction |
These are example specifications, not a fixed package or price. Confirm your real service boundaries after inspecting the source.
4. Set up your account and start the build
- Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
- Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
- Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
[mode: build][mode: web]is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command. - Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
- Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
- Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send
[exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.
Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.

5. Adapt and send this request
Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.
Create a ONE PAGE MeNooN website for my video editing service [name] in Egypt for [customer type]. Show my authorised sample [link] with an accurate description of my contribution [details]. Focus on [video type] without invented projects or clients. Explain source duration separately from final duration, and describe vertical or horizontal output, captions and audio. Open my personal WhatsApp [international number] with questions about source duration, resolution, file count, output length, aspect ratio, caption language, deadline and music source. State that price and timing follow inspection of a source sample, and that material rights and music permissions must be confirmed. Include approval of an initial edited sequence before applying the direction to the whole project. Do not require visitor login or public video uploads. State my actual delivery formats [formats] and whether project files are included [answer]. Make the page readable on phones and prevent autoplay. Before execution, quote the evaluated one-time creation fee separately from the first month of standard one-page hosting at 100 EGP, identify any video or additional service costs and wait for approval.
6. Test the result before relying on it
- Send a test request with 8 minutes of source and 30 seconds of output.Expected result: The prepared enquiry keeps the two durations distinct.
- Play the portfolio sample on a vertical phone.Expected result: Playback can be controlled, captions are readable and your actual role is visible.
- Request a vertical output from horizontal recordings.Expected result: The page explains that cropping must be reviewed rather than promising every element will remain visible.
- Inspect the sample footage, music and file links.Expected result: Publication permissions are established and no private customer project or unintended public source link appears.
7. Use the project during its first week
During the first week, send the page to a small number of creators whose content matches your chosen editing service. Point them to the relevant sample. Record whether enquiries include source duration and viewing format or need more explanation. Note practical obstacles such as incompatible files or deadlines that do not fit the workload, and improve the questions accordingly. After the first job, ask the customer to test the final video on their phone before requesting feedback on the service.
An announcement you can adapt
Have [content type] footage that needs a clear edit? See my sample here: [website link]. Send the recording length, intended viewing format and deadline so we can discuss the source files, audio and initial sample before agreeing the work.
Questions about this project
Can final length determine the whole price?
It does not show how much selection, correction or caption work is needed. Assess source condition and output requirements, then apply your real pricing method.
Can I use any song the customer chooses?
Check that suitable permission exists for this project. Customer preference and a song’s popularity do not establish the necessary usage rights.
Are editable project files included?
Only if agreed. State file formats, linked materials and any licensing limits before accepting the job instead of assuming editable files are part of every delivery.
