What you will finish

Finish a public one-page calculator that estimates one parcel within defined limits, explains exclusions and directs unsupported situations to you for review before any delivery price or order is confirmed.

1. Gather these details

  • Prepare the actual rate table you use, with its last review date and supported regions, rather than copying remembered carrier prices or assuming they remain fixed.
  • Define the weight included in the base charge, additional unit rate, rounding method and maximum supported weight, using kilograms consistently throughout the input and explanation.
  • State whether the estimate covers one parcel and which charges are excluded, such as collection or packaging, without hiding known mandatory fees behind a low headline figure.
  • Identify cases needing personal review, including bulky parcels and unsupported areas, and prepare hand-calculated examples plus a WhatsApp enquiry route that needs no public home address.

2. Define how the project works

1. Turn your table into explicit rules

For each region, write a base charge covering the first kilogram, for example, and a charge for each additional kilogram or part. Choose one clear rule rather than mixing prices from different parcel arrangements. State the table review date, weight limits and parcel count. If your actual carrier applies volumetric weight or conditions omitted from the tool, do not ignore them at confirmation: identify those cases as outside the simplified estimate and requiring personal review.

2. Calculate examples before requesting the build

In the fictional table below, region A costs 60 EGP for the first kilogram and 15 EGP per additional kilogram or part. A 2.4 kg parcel has 1.4 kg above the included amount, rounded upward to two extra units. Its estimate is therefore 60 + 2 × 15 = 90 EGP. This illustrates the rule, not a carrier's tariff. Calculate several weights yourself so you know the correct results before asking for the tool.

3. Reject inputs outside the supported rules

An empty, zero, negative or nonnumeric weight should produce a short correction message rather than a cost. An unsupported region must not receive the cheapest available rate; direct the user to contact you. The example supports up to 10 kg, with heavier parcels requiring review. Show selected region and weight with the answer so input mistakes are visible. Clear an old result when the user changes inputs to something invalid instead of leaving a misleading previous price.

4. Explain the estimate before any order

Place the one-parcel scope, selected weight and region beside the result, together with the table date and explicit inclusions and exclusions. A WhatsApp button can prepare these details and the estimate, but must not send automatically or confirm an order. You review the destination, parcel type and remaining conditions before the final charge. This public calculation needs no visitor login or personal-data storage; a broad region and weight are enough for its basic purpose.

3. Work through an example

4. Set up your account and start the build

  1. Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
  2. Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
  3. Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
    [mode: build]
[mode: web] is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command.
  4. Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
  5. Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
  6. Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send [exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.

Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.

5. Adapt and send this request

Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.

Create ONE PAGE with a public one-parcel delivery estimator for [business name], using my approved region and price table [table], reviewed [date]. Inputs are a listed region and weight in kilograms, with no name, detailed address, login or personal-data storage. Apply [base covering the first kilogram plus a charge for each additional kilogram or part rounded upward], up to [maximum weight]. Do not infer carrier rates. Reject empty, zero, negative or nonnumeric weights and clear previous results after invalid inputs. Unsupported regions and excessive weights must request contact instead of receiving a guessed price. Display the calculation, region, weight, table date and inclusions or exclusions [details], stating that I confirm the final charge. Add a button preparing a message to my personal WhatsApp [number], without automatic sending. Do not claim carrier integration, tracking, bookings or payment verification. Use MeNooN and Gammal Tech services only if necessary and approved. Before execution, quote the build charge separately from standard one-page hosting at 100 EGP for the first month and any optional charges. Wait for my approval.

6. Test the result before relying on it

  1. Use example region A with weights of 1, 1.01 and 2.4 kg.Expected result: Results are 60, 75 and 90 EGP respectively: the extra charge starts above the included kilogram and rounds upward.
  2. Switch to region B while keeping the weight at 2.4 kg.Expected result: The result becomes 120 EGP, showing 80 + 2 × 20 rather than retaining the previous region's price.
  3. After a valid result, try empty, zero, negative and nonnumeric weights.Expected result: No cost remains displayed; a readable correction message appears and the old result is cleared.
  4. Try 10.1 kg or an unsupported region, then use the contact button.Expected result: The tool requests review without inventing a rate; WhatsApp prepares an enquiry without automatically sending or confirming shipment.

7. Use the project during its first week

During the first week, place the estimator link beside delivery information on product pages and share it when customers request an initial estimate. Compare the first ten estimates with your eventual quotes, recording reasons for differences such as disclosed extras or unsupported situations. Correct wording or rules before promoting the tool more widely. Whenever rates change, update the review date and repeat boundary tests. If you cannot maintain the table, temporarily replace numerical estimates with a clear contact route rather than leaving outdated prices active.

Questions about this project

Does this tool connect to shipping companies?

No. This version applies a table you supply and maintain. Live tariffs, tracking and carrier bookings require separately verified integrations and should not be implied.

Can customers combine several parcels?

This example covers one parcel only. Adding the weights of separate parcels may miss multiple base charges or different conditions, so supporting that requires deliberate rule changes.

What about a light but bulky parcel?

Send it for review if your table does not account for size. A weight-only estimate must not be described as final when other conditions can affect the charge.
