What you will finish
Your private project tracker displays current agreed costs, payments, remaining obligations and budget headroom. It does not estimate market prices, calculate material quantities or replace your review of quotations and agreements.
1. Gather these details
- Gather work items you have actually approved, including scope, agreement date and amount in Egyptian pounds. Keep original documents in your usual secure location rather than uploading sensitive material.
- Choose a stable baseline budget and a separate contingency amount. Do not automatically increase the baseline whenever costs rise, or the original comparison will disappear.
- Collect actual payments by item, with date, amount and a brief descriptive reference. Do not enter bank account numbers, card images or sensitive transfer details.
- Separate proposed changes from changes you have approved. The former are possibilities; the latter alter expected obligations after you record the decision explicitly.
- Choose one record keeper. If several people pay, they can provide transaction facts to that person without sharing login codes or treating the tool as a shared account.
2. Define how the project works
Establish the comparison baseline
Enter the base budget and contingency separately. Their sum is your planning ceiling, not a guarantee that the project will finish within it. Add approved work items with scope and agreed amount. Items awaiting a quotation or decision remain separate unapproved estimates rather than appearing among commitments as if you had accepted them. Check that the same work is not entered once inside a package and again as an additional standalone item.
Record approval before changing cost
For extra work, record its description, amount, approval date and linked item. Preserve the original agreement instead of overwriting it and losing the comparison. Record an agreed reduction explicitly with a reason. Current item cost combines the original amount and approved adjustments. A received quotation is not automatically an approved change; retain proposed work separately until you deliberately decide to include it in the current commitments.
Keep payments separate from obligations
Record each actual payment once against its item. Amount still payable equals current agreed cost minus recorded payments. An advance payment does not reduce project cost; it only reduces the remaining amount to pay. If payments exceed a revised cost, show an overpaid difference requiring review without initiating a refund. Editing a payment must update the same record, with confirmation before deletion so a simple correction neither doubles nor silently removes money.
Review headroom and payments together
Budget headroom equals base budget plus contingency minus all current approved item costs. This differs from remaining payments, which depend on what you have already paid. Review current cost, paid amount and headroom together each week. If headroom is negative, reconsider scope and agreements before accepting new work; the tool must not increase the budget automatically. Keep quote figures accurate and discuss any disagreement directly with the supplier outside the site.
3. Work through an example
| Item | Calculation | Value |
|---|---|---|
| Approved base work | Your agreed quotations | EGP 100,000 |
| Chosen contingency | Separate planning amount | EGP 10,000 |
| Approved additions | Agreed extra work | EGP 8,000 |
| Current cost | 100,000 + 8,000 | EGP 108,000 |
| Remaining payments | 108,000 − 40,000 paid | EGP 68,000 |
| Budget headroom | 110,000 − 108,000 | EGP 2,000 |
These are fictional figures, not renovation prices or a recommended contingency. EGP 2,000 of headroom does not mean only EGP 2,000 remains payable; existing obligations still require EGP 68,000 in this example.
4. Set up your account and start the build
- Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
- Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
- Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
[mode: build][mode: web]is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command. - Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
- Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
- Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send
[exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.
Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.
For private saving, ask the builder to connect Gammal Tech sign-in and register the correct website address in your project. If requested, open the developer area, select the project or create it under the agreed quote, and copy its ID; never guess it. Check that the final site address is registered before testing saves. Each account has its own data. Test save and reload, then ask a trusted person using their own genuine account to check that your records are not visible. Do not share sign-in codes or create another account for yourself. User-data storage is free, with a 1 MB limit per user, so keep short text records rather than files or photographs. Paid sign-in codes may need project funds after the free allowance: fund your wallet, then transfer a usage budget to the project in the developer area. Sign-in does not automatically disclose identity or contact details to the site owner.

5. Adapt and send this request
Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.
Build a private ONE PAGE renovation budget planner on MeNooN called [project name], in [language]. Use Gammal Tech login and isolated per-user JSON storage, hiding records after logout and from other accounts. Include base budget and separate contingency changed only by explicit user decisions. Each work item has description, scope, original agreed amount and date. Approved increases or reductions need separate descriptions and approval dates; proposed changes remain separate and excluded from commitments. Current cost combines the original and approved adjustments and must not become negative. Actual dated payments link to items. Remaining payment equals current cost minus payments; overpayment should show a review warning, never an automatic refund. Budget headroom equals base plus contingency minus current costs, not merely minus money paid. Support editing and confirmed deletion. Reject missing or nonnumeric amounts and negative payments. Do not invent market prices, request bank details or personal documents, or build a shared contractor dashboard. Make the figures clearly labelled on phones. Before execution, separately quote the one-time build fee, standard first-month hosting of EGP 100 and any chargeable login-code usage. Await approval.
6. Test the result before relying on it
- Enter base budget 100,000, contingency 10,000, agreed items 100,000, approved change 8,000 and payments 40,000.Expected result: Current cost is 108,000, remaining payment 68,000 and headroom 2,000, each clearly labelled.
- Edit the existing payment from 40,000 to 45,000.Expected result: Paid becomes 45,000 and remaining payment 63,000. Cost and headroom stay unchanged; the old payment is not counted again.
- Add an unapproved proposed change of 5,000, then try a negative payment and blank amount.Expected result: The proposal does not increase commitments. Invalid financial entries are rejected without creating misleading records.
- Check another account after logout, then review an item paid above its revised cost.Expected result: Other accounts cannot access records. The overpaid item shows a difference for review without starting an automatic refund.
7. Use the project during its first week
During the first week, enter only three items and match them with approved quotations, then record their actual payments. Check the totals independently before adding the rest of the project. Review after each payment or approved change and ask whether it affects scope and cost or only payment timing. Do not share screenshots of private agreements publicly; use fictional figures to demonstrate the tool. Keep disputed proposals outside confirmed totals so an unresolved assumption does not become an apparently agreed obligation.
Your first weekly review note
This week’s renovation review: current agreed cost [amount], paid [amount], budget headroom [amount]. Before approving [change], I will review its effect on the total. My private planner: [website link]. These are tracking figures, not new supplier quotations.
Questions about this project
Does the planner estimate renovation prices?
No. Enter quotations you have reviewed and approved. Scope, materials and execution vary, so invented standard prices would undermine a tool intended to track actual agreements.
Does contingency automatically grow when costs increase?
No. The comparison should preserve your chosen baseline. If you decide to raise the budget, record that decision explicitly rather than hiding increases through automatic adjustments.
Does an advance payment reduce project cost?
No. Cost comes from approved work and changes. Payment reduces only the remaining amount payable. Keeping those figures separate prevents cash movements from being confused with the size of an obligation.
