What you will finish
You finish with a private page containing category budgets, dated expenses and monthly totals in Egyptian pounds. It organises your records; it does not retrieve bank transactions or decide what your household should spend.
1. Gather these details
- Choose one starting month and the amount available for household spending. Exclude savings you have decided not to use so the plan reflects your actual intention.
- Prepare five understandable categories, such as groceries, transport, bills, household supplies and unexpected expenses. Use consistent names rather than creating a new category for every purchase.
- Gather a week of receipts or notes and extract dates, amounts and categories. You do not need card numbers, account information or uploaded receipt images.
- Choose one person to maintain the records. Other household members can provide spending figures without sharing a login code or gaining access through a common account.
- Reserve ten minutes for a weekly review. Prepare three fictional expenses whose total you already know so you can check the page before entering real information.
2. Define how the project works
Allocate the available amount first
Assign a planned amount to each category before entering expenses. Start with commitments you know about, then household needs and a realistic allowance for the unexpected. Ask the page to compare the available amount with the sum of category budgets. An overallocated plan should produce a clear warning without silently changing your figures. A category that has not yet received its monthly bill is not necessarily under control simply because its current total is low.
Record one payment at a time
Give each record a date, amount, category and optional short note. Use a consistent rule: record spending when it is actually paid. If one purchase belongs in two categories, enter two parts that add up to the receipt total. Include edit and confirmed-delete controls so correcting an amount does not create a duplicate. Set a clear starting date, and enter any earlier expenses once only if you decide to include them.
Make the comparison readable
For each category, show its budget, actual total and remaining amount. Remaining means budget minus spending; a negative result indicates an overrun, not a software failure. Monthly totals must use the records for the selected month only. Put an explanatory label beside negative numbers instead of relying solely on red colouring. Show pounds with two decimal places, and retain previous months when the user switches to a new period.
Review the records before changing the plan
At each weekly review, check for missing or duplicate entries before interpreting a difference. Then choose one practical adjustment, such as moving part of the planned budget between categories. Keep the actual spending unchanged unless it was entered incorrectly. Confirm that signing out hides the figures and another account sees only its own records. Use fictional data for this privacy check before storing genuine household expenses in the page.
3. Work through an example
| Category | Planned | Actual and remaining |
|---|---|---|
| Groceries | EGP 3,000 | Spent 2,800; remaining 200 |
| Transport | EGP 1,000 | Spent 1,200; over by 200 |
| Bills | EGP 1,500 | Spent 1,400; remaining 100 |
| Other needs | EGP 500 | Spent 300; remaining 200 |
| Total | EGP 6,000 | Spent 5,700; remaining 300 |
The overall balance is EGP 300, although transport exceeded its individual plan by EGP 200. These fictional figures demonstrate arithmetic and do not describe a typical Egyptian household.
4. Set up your account and start the build
- Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
- Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
- Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
[mode: build][mode: web]is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command. - Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
- Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
- Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send
[exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.
Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.
For private saving, ask the builder to connect Gammal Tech sign-in and register the correct website address in your project. If requested, open the developer area, select the project or create it under the agreed quote, and copy its ID; never guess it. Check that the final site address is registered before testing saves. Each account has its own data. Test save and reload, then ask a trusted person using their own genuine account to check that your records are not visible. Do not share sign-in codes or create another account for yourself. User-data storage is free, with a 1 MB limit per user, so keep short text records rather than files or photographs. Paid sign-in codes may need project funds after the free allowance: fund your wallet, then transfer a usage budget to the project in the developer area. Sign-in does not automatically disclose identity or contact details to the site owner.

5. Adapt and send this request
Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.
Build a private ONE PAGE household budget planner on MeNooN called [planner name], in [language], using Egyptian pounds. Use Gammal Tech login and per-user JSON storage, with no access to another user’s records and no visible figures after logout. Include month selection, an available monthly amount and editable budget categories. Each expense needs a date, a nonnegative amount, a category and an optional short note. Calculate actual category spending, remaining category budget and monthly totals. Allow editing and deletion with confirmation; require a separate confirmation before clearing a month. Distinguish empty records from a recorded zero and reject blank or nonnumeric amounts with a readable explanation. Do not connect to banks, request documents or publish my spending at a public URL. This is a single-user tool, not a shared household dashboard. Make tables readable on phones and accompany colour warnings with text. Only load demonstration records if I request them, without mixing them with my actual records. Before execution, quote the one-time build fee, the first month of standard EGP 100 hosting separately, and any chargeable login-code usage. Wait for my approval of the complete quote.
6. Test the result before relying on it
- Set a category budget of 1,000 and enter expenses of 250 and 125.50 in the same month.Expected result: Actual spending is 375.50 and remaining budget is 624.50; compare with a separate calculator.
- Add an expense of 700, then edit that record to 600.Expected result: The remaining amount changes from negative 75.50 to positive 24.50, without retaining a duplicate of the previous record.
- Try a blank amount and a negative amount, then open a month without records.Expected result: Invalid amounts are rejected clearly. The empty month does not borrow totals from another month.
- Sign out, then open the page using another test account.Expected result: The original figures disappear after logout and are unavailable to the other account; stop entering real data if this fails.
7. Use the project during its first week
Use only two categories during the first week and record spending once daily. At the weekly review, compare three records with your receipts and check a total independently. Add forgotten spending using its actual payment date instead of combining unexplained figures into a single entry. Note any confusing field and request a focused correction before adding more categories. If showing someone the planner, use fictional records rather than screenshots of household finances. Early success means consistent records and correct arithmetic, not a promised amount of savings.

Questions about this project
What should I do when a category exceeds its budget?
Keep the true spending figure. Review the reason, then adjust the remaining plan if appropriate. Editing actual expenditure merely to match the budget would make the comparison misleading.
Can my family share the same account?
Do not share login codes. This version has one record keeper who can receive figures from other family members. Collaboration between separate accounts needs a separately designed permission model and a fresh quote.
Does the remaining figure equal my bank balance?
No. It is calculated from your chosen budget and entered records only. Unrecorded transactions, savings and spending outside the selected period can make it very different from an account balance.
