What you will finish
You will have a personal estimating tool that saves a project’s scope and pricing assumptions in your account. It supports your decision about one service quote; it does not determine market demand or what a customer will accept.
1. Gather these details
- Choose one service with a concrete output, such as formatting ten slides. Identify what the customer provides and what you deliver before considering a price.
- Choose your own planning rate per hour. It is an input you control, not a market rate supplied by the tool or a promise about earning potential.
- Separate delivery, communication and revision time. Do not count revisions inside delivery hours and then add the same time again in a separate field.
- Use short project labels rather than personal customer details. The purpose is to connect estimates to assumptions, not to collect identities or payment account information.
- List direct expenses and whether the quote includes them. Keep an unknown expense visibly unresolved until checked instead of silently treating it as zero.
2. Define how the project works
1. Define a scope you can check
Record the number of outputs, their format, the requested deadline and explicit exclusions. Formatting ten slides from customer-supplied text and images is clearer than simply offering a presentation. Define how many revision rounds are included and what a round means. Replacing the entire subject after delivery is a different decision from correcting a small detail. Agree on changed scope before performing extra work rather than letting the calculator make that commercial decision.
2. Estimate the separate activities
Enter delivery, communication and revision hours separately. Add them and multiply by your chosen hourly planning rate. Add direct expenses once. You can include a fixed internal contingency, but it should not conceal an unclear brief. Preserve a short reason beside important estimates: images already supplied, content needing rearrangement, or a particular export format. Those notes explain the numbers when you return to the quote several weeks later.
3. Keep the calculation separate from the offer
This is your private working tool. Do not share your account or publish the estimating screen as a customer price list. Prepare a separate offer stating the output, agreed price, validity, revisions and starting conditions. You do not have to publish your internal rate or contingency. When the requested scope changes, copy the estimate into a new version so the previous offer retains its original assumptions and figures.
4. Learn from completed work
After delivery, enter actual hours and direct costs beside the original estimate. If seven planned hours became nine, identify which activity increased and why. That comparison improves future estimates; it does not retrospectively change a customer’s agreed price. Keep the old quote intact, record the lesson and apply any revised assumptions to new work. A simple, consistent weekly comparison is more useful than repeatedly changing rates without knowing the cause.
3. Work through an example
| Component | Assumption | Calculation |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery time | 5 hours | 5 |
| Communication and revisions | 1 + 1 hours | 2 |
| Time value | 7 hours × EGP 200 | EGP 1,400 |
| Direct expense | Known amount | EGP 100 |
| Fixed internal contingency | Chosen amount | EGP 150 |
| Estimated quote | 1,400 + 100 + 150 | EGP 1,650 |
Adding two hours before agreement increases this estimate by EGP 400 to EGP 2,050, provided the other amounts remain unchanged.
4. Set up your account and start the build
- Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
- Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
- Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
[mode: build][mode: web]is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command. - Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
- Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
- Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send
[exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.
Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.
For private saving, ask the builder to connect Gammal Tech sign-in and register the correct website address in your project. If requested, open the developer area, select the project or create it under the agreed quote, and copy its ID; never guess it. Check that the final site address is registered before testing saves. Each account has its own data. Test save and reload, then ask a trusted person using their own genuine account to check that your records are not visible. Do not share sign-in codes or create another account for yourself. User-data storage is free, with a 1 MB limit per user, so keep short text records rather than files or photographs. Paid sign-in codes may need project funds after the free allowance: fund your wallet, then transfer a usage budget to the project in the developer area. Sign-in does not automatically disclose identity or contact details to the site owner.

5. Adapt and send this request
Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.
Build a private one-page quote calculator named [tool name] on MeNooN. Use Gammal Tech login and per-user storage so only the signed-in user can access their records. Each estimate needs a short project label, version, output description and exclusions for [service type]. Provide separate delivery, communication and revision hours. Add them and multiply by an hourly rate I enter, then add direct costs and an optional fixed contingency once. Show the formula and amount in EGP. Do not invent prices, taxes or guaranteed profit. Save assumptions, allow copying an estimate into a new version, and record actual hours separately without changing the original. Reject negative entries and distinguish missing values from zero. Do not collect identity or payment account details, create team permissions or automatically contact clients. Make the interface easy to use on a phone. Before building, quote the one-time creation fee separately from the first month of standard one-page hosting at EGP 100. Identify any chargeable login-code usage and wait for my approval.
6. Test the result before relying on it
- Enter five delivery hours, one communication hour and one revision hour at 200, plus 100 expense and 150 contingency.Expected result: The tool displays seven hours and EGP 1,650. Check the individual components as well as the total.
- Copy the estimate and add two hours to the new version.Expected result: The new result is EGP 2,050; the original remains EGP 1,650 with its assumptions unchanged.
- Leave the hourly rate empty and try a negative time entry.Expected result: The calculator asks for valid input rather than presenting the blank rate as a valid free quote.
- Save, sign out, sign in again, then inspect the public page while signed out.Expected result: Your saved records return after login. Project details are not publicly displayed before authentication.
7. Use the project during its first week
During the first week, estimate three completed jobs whose actual effort you remember, using anonymous project labels. Identify forgotten activities such as messages or file preparation. Then use the tool for one new enquiry and read the scope before sending an offer through your normal contact channel. Retain the customer’s agreement separately because the calculator does not capture it automatically. Compare planned and actual hours weekly, adjusting the underlying assumptions gradually. A stable method makes estimates easier to explain than changing the hourly rate with every conversation.
Your first weekly review note
Weekly quote review: [website link]. I prepared [number] estimates. The largest unexpected effort was [activity], so the next offer will clarify [revision limit or scope detail]. Previously agreed prices remain recorded unchanged.
Questions about this project
Must I charge exactly the calculated amount?
No. It is an estimate from your assumptions. Decide after reviewing scope, costs, capacity and your agreement with the customer; the tool does not establish a compulsory market price.
Where should revision time go?
Use its own field and keep it out of delivery hours if that would count it twice. Consistent categories matter more than a complicated formula.
Is this a feasibility study?
No. It estimates one defined service request. A feasibility study examines the wider business, its costs and demand. Use the existing feasibility guide for that broader decision.
