What you will finish

Finish with a private collection of editable question-and-answer cards, a deliberate reveal step, self-reported recall ratings and a focused queue for the cards you found difficult.

1. Gather these details

  • Choose a narrow topic and keep a reference for checking the answers. Write the cards yourself or use material you have permission to reuse.
  • Prepare ten short questions with specific answers. Split a question requiring three unrelated facts so you can see which individual fact you did not recall.
  • Define three honest ratings: remembered, needed a hint and review again. These describe your attempt; they are not an automatically verified examination result.
  • Prepare an easy card, a longer card and an incomplete card for testing. Keep a checked copy of the content and exclude private classmate information.

2. Define how the project works

1. Ask a question without revealing its answer

Put one learning point on each card. If the question asks for a place name, do not reveal that name in the group heading. Keep the answer focused and add an optional explanation or reference for later. Where two answers could reasonably be correct, clarify the context before saving. The tool can organise cards, but it cannot know that your original notes are accurate. Ten carefully checked cards are a useful first collection.

2. Make the recall step deliberate

Show the question and a separate reveal button. Answer aloud or on paper before revealing the stored answer, then choose the rating that matches what happened. Include a progress counter, without forcing a countdown timer. Start with a clear order and an option to change it. You do not need a complicated scheduling algorithm for the first version; you need a reliable way to attempt recall before seeing the answer.

3. Review the difficult cards separately

At the end, show the number of cards in each rating. Let the user review the two difficult categories or start a complete new session without erasing the original content. When a question or answer changes, mark it for review again; an old rating describes old content. A dated attempt can help planning, but do not present self-reported ratings as intelligence, mastery or a guaranteed future grade.

4. Keep ownership and saving clear

Use Gammal Tech sign-in to save each person’s own groups. Check that editing one group leaves another unchanged and that signing out hides personal content. A friend should use their own account, not your credentials. Sharing a teaching collection later requires a separate publication decision and permission to use its contents. When loading fails, retain the existing records rather than replacing them with an apparently empty collection.

3. Work through an example

An illustrative ten-card test collection
RatingCardsNext review
Remembered6Remain in the full collection
Needed a hint3Join the extra-review queue
Review again1Start with this card next time
Total10Extra review contains four cards

These counts test filtering. Six remembered ratings do not prove mastery, particularly if you revealed answers before making a recall attempt.

4. Set up your account and start the build

  1. Use your account or register.Visit www.gammal.tech/join. New account activation takes 1–10 days. Use a National ID from a country whose citizenship you hold; the official account guide explains the limited exceptions for Egyptian citizens. Submit identity documents only through the official registration process.
  2. Activate the WhatsApp subscription. After approval, open my.gammal.tech and add EGP 200 to your wallet, or use sufficient existing funds. Activate the monthly WhatsApp subscription in your account and check that it is active. Funding the wallet alone does not activate it. This subscription covers light personal use; website creation is charged separately.
  3. Open the building conversation.Message +201033998844 and send the following command by itself, including the required square brackets. Wait for confirmation of build mode:
    [mode: build]
[mode: web] is an alternative for the same mode; you only need one command.
  4. Send the request in the next section.Replace its placeholders and ask for exactly one page using an available name of at least three characters. Before execution, request an itemised quote separating the one-time build fee, EGP 100 for the first month of standard hosting and any additional usage. Ask how changes beyond the agreed scope are charged.
  5. Check the total and approve the build.Once you understand the quote, return to your account and add any missing funds. Return to WhatsApp and confirm the scope and price. Some simple sites take minutes; requirements and revisions affect timing. Open the resulting address and run this guide’s acceptance checks.
  6. Record the renewal date.MeNooN hosting renews manually: select the duration and confirm payment before expiry. Leaving funds in your wallet does not renew it automatically. Send [exit], including brackets, when you finish the building conversation.

Budget: quoted build fee + EGP 100 hosting + EGP 200 for one WhatsApp month if it is not already active, plus agreed usage. Twelve months of standard hosting cost EGP 1,200; adding one WhatsApp month makes EGP 1,400 before build and usage fees. Keeping WhatsApp active for further months costs separately.

For private saving, ask the builder to connect Gammal Tech sign-in and register the correct website address in your project. If requested, open the developer area, select the project or create it under the agreed quote, and copy its ID; never guess it. Check that the final site address is registered before testing saves. Each account has its own data. Test save and reload, then ask a trusted person using their own genuine account to check that your records are not visible. Do not share sign-in codes or create another account for yourself. User-data storage is free, with a 1 MB limit per user, so keep short text records rather than files or photographs. Paid sign-in codes may need project funds after the free allowance: fund your wallet, then transfer a usage budget to the project in the developer area. Sign-in does not automatically disclose identity or contact details to the site owner.

5. Adapt and send this request

Replace every bracketed placeholder with your real details. Copy this request after the assistant confirms build mode. Do not publish the illustrative figures as your own.

Build ONE PAGE on MeNooN called [flashcard tool name] in [language]. This is a private study tool for content I write and check, not an answer generator. Use Gammal Tech login and separate per-user storage. Add groups and cards with a question, answer and optional explanation. Reject missing questions or answers and confirm before deleting a group. During review, show only the question until I select Reveal. Then offer Remembered, Needed a hint and Review again. Save the attempt and date, show counts by rating and create an extra-review queue from the last two categories. Editing a card should require a new review. Do not add predicted grades, rankings or sharing of personal collections. Support phone screens and keyboard use, with clear loading and saving states that preserve old data if connectivity fails. Include a ten-card test with ratings six, three and one, giving four cards in extra review. Quote the one-time build fee separately from the first month of standard 100 EGP hosting for an available name of at least three characters, plus any usage costs, before starting. Wait for my approval and explain adding a card and restoring my collection after login.

6. Test the result before relying on it

  1. Rate ten cards as six remembered, three hint and one review again.Expected result: The total remains ten and extra review contains four distinct cards, without duplicate entries.
  2. Begin a new session before revealing anything.Expected result: Answers remain hidden until requested, and the reveal action works with the keyboard.
  3. Submit a card without an answer, then edit a previously rated answer.Expected result: The incomplete card is rejected; the edited card requires review rather than keeping an outdated rating.
  4. Save, sign out and return to the collection.Expected result: The correct cards and ratings return. A loading failure must not overwrite them with an empty collection.

7. Use the project during its first week

Use ten cards for a week and note ambiguous questions before increasing the collection. Review after learning the subject, not instead of understanding it. At the end of the week, consider whether better answers reflect recall or merely familiarity with the order. Invite a friend to test their own permitted content using their own account. Watch whether they can reveal an answer and correct a card without explanation. Improve confusing controls before adding larger collections, and retain the references needed to correct content later.

Your first weekly review note

Weekly review: I practised [number] cards on [topic] and rewrote [number] unclear questions. My next session will focus on [area]. My flashcard tool: [website link]. Ratings are self-reported; they help me choose what to understand or practise next.

Questions about this project

Can flashcards replace longer practice tasks?

No. They suit short recall, terminology and connections. Extended problems, writing and analysis still need complete practice beyond selecting a remembered rating.

Can I add AI-generated questions?

Treat them as drafts and check each question and answer against a suitable reference. The first version does not need generation, and convincing wording is not proof of accuracy.

What if most cards remain difficult?

Revisit the source material and reduce new cards. Split oversized questions and clarify ambiguous ones before repeating a smaller collection.
